Severance has been working in the real estate industry for more than 11 years and has extensive experience in military relocation and distressed properties. Among Severance’s list of achievements, she has earned RE/MAX International Hall of Fame, RE/MAX International Chairman’s Club, RE/MAX Honolulu Overall Top Producer, and is ranked among the elite Real Estate Agents on Oahu.
Personal Life
Shannon Severance was born and raised in central Florida. Upon graduating from high school, Shannon married into the United States Coast Guard and started a family of her own. They conducted over 8 PCS moves across the country from East Coast to the Central Pacific.
Shannon’s extensive knowledge of Hawaii’s unique real estate market has allowed her to own multiple homes on the island. Shannon’s other passions include her strong faith, animal advocacy, mentoring and football (she is a proud “owner” of the Green Bay Packers). And when Shannon’s not providing exceptional service to her clients, she spends her time golfing, hiking and being the best mom to her daughter, Meranda, cats, Gracie & Pumpkin and puppy, Louie.
The Early Days
Shannon started her career in Early Childhood Education, receiving a degree for the same in 2003. Her career in real estate began in 2009 when she received her license in Certified Apartment Management (CAM) in Savannah, GA and started working in residential property management for some time. In 2011, Shannon obtained her real estate license here in Hawaii and has committed to helping countless buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals ever since.
Today
Today, Shannon is RE/MAX Honolulu’s Director of Business Growth and serves the entire island of Oahu. She has been awarded the prestigious RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement award in January 2019 and honored as RE/MAX Honolulu’s Overall Top Producer from 2016 – 2021, and inducted into the RE/MAX International Hall of Fame. Shannon has also been a part of the RE/MAX International Chairman’s Club from 2014 – 2019. She also holds certifications as a Certified Residential Specialist and Military Relocation Professional.
